Rob Hempenstall

Rob founded Silver Lining after getting his degree in Film & Media Studies at Weymouth University. Collecting his degree with a “Thanks mate, now lets make some real videos” attitude, his first job was filming Tony Hawk on the half-pipe during his “Tony Hawk and Friends” World Tour. No pressure.

Since then, Rob has worked with organisations, local businesses, world-renowned thought-leaders and authors. His understanding of industries, patience with the subject in-front of the camera and considerations for the end product have meant his company is the go-to firm for anyone wanting the complete package.

James started out working as Rob’s apprentice and has quickly risen up the ranks to the point where he’s able to confidently handle many jobs by himself.

Very often though, Rob and James tackle jobs as a pair. His attention to the big picture and his understanding of business strategy and marketing is a welcome addition to the Silver Lining family.

The end result of the films James works on has a unique quality to it.

Her experience covering events and weddings has lead her to be the perfect candidate for the conference work Silver Lining do.

Always working with a smile on her face, yet keeping her eye out for those ‘fly-on-the-wall’ shots, she’s welcomed back to repeat events time and time again.
